The Cusini Drugstore dates back to 1927 when the Bormolini family set up a small store on the ground floor of their house.
They mainly sold foodstuffs, fabrics and footwear for 40 years until the building was renovated and extended in 1974 to make room for a new beauty department: the “Profumeria”.
Thanks to Umbrian architect Lorenzo Radi, the store has an elegant and timeless design where sleek glass features are combined with local materials from the Valtellina area such as larch wood and pietra dorata stone. The building symbolizes stability and ongoing research – the principles which guided siblings Barbara, Bernardo and Giovanni when they founded their company, the Cusini Group.
This timeless yet innovative store is one of the most prestigious buildings of its kind in Livigno.
